Mitten’s Pets

Mitten’s Pets is a Michigan based pet business. We believe in bringing the best of the pet industry to the residents of our state.

We are comfort based. Safety based. Solutions based. Our formula for promoting healthy skin and coat goes beyond that of a typical grooming salon. We do this because we know our cat households deserve more then the long maintained, but out of date, ways of grooming. We bring the skills of our trade and merge with the science of skin and coat care to offer your pet more.
Our grooming method helps restore coat luster, repair damaged skin and coat. Routine grooming helps manage allergy riddled skin, mange, and more!

We offer various grooming options to promote comfort and peace of mind for our cats and their families.

Kayla- Administrative Assistant

Picture

Meet Kayla, our cheerful front desk administrator! She strives to  create a welcoming atmosphere, making pick-ups and drop-offs for pet parents and their babies a delightful experience! Kayla also enjoys taking pictures of the boarding kitties and sending kitty cards to owners. Her passion for animas has been a lifelong journey, beginning with her first family Labrador, Luke. When she was around the age of sixteen she adopted Oliver and Bella, her feline companions who adore wand toys!

Kayla has always been her families pet sitter, and she spent the past 3 years working as a veterinary assistant after earning her certification from Ross Medical Educational Center. Kayla has used that past experience and is now more confidently skilled in providing compassionate feline care and spreading joy wherever she goes! On Sundays, she can be found volunteering at church, teaching the 1st grade kiddos, dancing with them and making them smile.

Kayla is excited to continue her journey at Mittens Pets and pursue her grooming apprenticeship in the future!

Marilyn Monroe- Part Time greeter

Picture

Marilyn Monroe received her name for her fabulous beauty mark. It's not hard to miss! Isn't she striking? Marilyn loves to sit on your lap, cuddle, sit on your head, run on the computer keys, attack your buttons and zipper and sometimes be the greeter. She can often be found in her basket bed next to the reception desk or in her fabulous kitty greenhouse. She is full of funny quirks, fiestiness, and when she's tuckered out, has such a sweet and loving personality. She is most definitely a valued member of the team. She can't wait to meet you!
