Senior Cats
Grooming can exacerbate any medical issues. It can be incredibly hard on a senior cat especially if it is their first time. This is why we strongly encourage starting the grooming process when they are kittens.
You understand and agree that Mitten's Pets is not responsible for any medical issues that may arise during or after the grooming process. You understand and accept that your cat is a senior citizen coming in for grooming and that grooming can increase stress. By accepting this agreement, you are also acknowledging that you have informed the groomer of all medical issues and understand the groomer will not be held responsible for any medical care.
You understand and agree that Mitten's Pets is not responsible for any medical issues that may arise during or after the grooming process. Vaccinations
All cats must be up to date on their rabies. We do ask for a physical copy of 1 year or 3 year rabies. This can be emailed to us directly by you or your vet or uploaded directly through your pet parent portal. We will not perform a service without this document. If cats are not up to date, vaccines need to be given a minimum of 7 days before an appointment.
Transportation
All cats must be brought in a carrier. Multiple cat households must be brought in individual carriers. They cannot be in the same carrier. This helps reduce stress for each cat when being removed from the carrier or after a groom.
Cat Grooming Release
Because we care about your pet's safety and well being, we want to assure you that every effort will be made to make your pet's visit as pleasant as possible.
Cats are creatures of habit and when exposed to a new environment they can experience elevated stress levels. In the event that your cat is to stressed to safely continue the groom, all procedures will stop and you will be notified immediately.
Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming.
In the best interest of your pet, we request your permission to obtain immediate veterinary treatment should it become necessary.
With an appointment, a pet parent grants permission to the grooming establishment to obtain emergency veterinary treatment for a pet at the owner’s expense.

CAT SAFETY RELEASE
Because we care about your pet's safety, we want to assure you that every precaution will be taken to provide a safe and stress-free grooming experience for your pet. Due to the intimate nature of the grooming process, or a pet's tolerance level for stress, strangers, or handling, some pets can become anxious or reactive during the grooming service.
If we determine that continuing the grooming service would present a threat to your pet's emotional or physical health and/or the safety of the groomer completing the service, we will discontinue the service and contact you immediately.
We will take every precaution necessary to complete the grooming service safely and humanely including the proper use of common industry safety equipment such as happy hoodies, muzzles, and restraints. You hereby grant permission to this grooming establishment to utilize proper restraints for the health and safety of my pet and my grooming service provider during the grooming service. You understand and agree that if the grooming establishment deems it unsafe or unhealthy to continue for the pet or the groomer, the grooming establishment will end the groom and you will be responsible for any services rendered.

DEPOSITS/CANCELLATION
A $30 non refundable deposit is required for every groom appointment. Cancellation of an appointment must be made 48 hour prior to the scheduled appointment. Ex: appointment is Saturday at 10AM. Appointment must be cancelled no later than Thursday by 10AM.
Appointments cancelled after the allotted window time forfeit transferring the deposit and a new deposit will be required for rescheduling.
Same day cancellations will require non-refundable and non-transferable pre-payment.

Late Arrivals
It is always courteous to let an establishment know if you will be running late. We offer a grace window of up to 15 minutes. If you are later beyond that window, your appointment will be cancelled and marked as a “no show.” If you still show up beyond this point, we do not guarantee we can groom your pet. If we are able to squeeze them in, you will be charged a $20-$30 fee with your appointment.

Their are no refunds for any service.
Prices
Our grooming prices are subject to change at any time and without notice. Prices are variable and are based on temperment, coat condition and the economy.
